Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating individuals of all ages on swimming techniques, safety, and water confidence. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students while promoting a love for swimming.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailored to various skill levels and ages. Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and personal responsibility in the water. Develop lesson plans that are engaging and effective in helping students achieve their swimming goals. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. Collaborate with other instructors to organise swim events and activities that promote community engagement. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.

Qualifications

Previous experience in teaching swimming is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. A genuine passion for swimming and helping others develop their skills. Ability to work well with individuals of all ages, from children to adults. Certification for Enhanced DBS, life saving and Safeguarding is preferred but not essential; help may be provided. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
