Qualifications Required: Swim Instructor Level 2

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages in swimming techniques, ensuring their safety while promoting water confidence and enjoyment.

Responsibilities

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of each student. Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and the importance of physical fitness. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and positive learning environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with students and their parents or guardians regarding progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in swim instruction.

Requirements

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. A genuine passion for educating others and fostering a love for swimming. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Relevant certifications in swim instruction or lifeguarding are an advantage but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate. A commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all participants.
