Level 2 Swimming Teachers

to join our team for both

regular

and

cover work

during the week and at weekends.

Whether you're looking to take on regular weekly sessions or provide vital cover when needed, we want to hear from YOU!

An

outgoing personality

and a

love for working with children

Reliable and punctual

with great communication skills

Passionate about teaching

swimming and building water confidence Able to work independently or as part of a supportive team A

conscientious approach

to safety, learning, and fun Confident using online tools to update registers and assess pupils

Requirements:

You must be able to commit to teaching from 1st week in August until last week in June.

(we do not teach in July, Christmas or Easter Holidays)

Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification

(STA or equivalent)

Pool Rescue Award

or equivalent lifesaving qualification Public liability insurance (e.g. through STA, IOS membership)

PVG

scheme membership Up-to-date

Safeguarding and Protecting Children

CPD Ability to assess swimmers in line with the

Swimtime Award Programme

Two

professional references

required

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, structured and fun swimming lessons to children Track pupil progress and update

online registers

regularly Assess and award swimmers based on the

Swimtime programme

Provide

cover

for other swimming teachers as required Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment at all times
