Overview


We offer children's swimming lessons with the smallest class sizes in the Midlands. With our uniquely small classes (maximum of four children) instructors have the opportunity showcase all of their teaching skills. We are looking to recruit new swimming teachers at our Saturday session at Northampton High School (Wootton) between 15:00 - 17:30.

Responsibilities


- Conduct swimming lessons for groups of 4 children of varying ages and skill levels
- Following a progression scheme which takes children from beginner to proficient
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons
- Motivate and inspire swimmers to improve their skills
- Monitor swimmers' progress and provide feedback for improvement and awards
- Maintain a clean and organised pool area

Qualifications


- Previous experience in sports coaching or swim instruction is desirable
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with swimmers of all ages
- Lifeguard certification is a plus and would be reflected in wage
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of different strokes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 8 per week

Work Location: In person

Pay: 20.00-22.00 per hour
