Job Description

As an STA mark accredited swim school we pride ourselves on providing a high quality, customer centric experience to all of our swimmers and parents. At the Scottish Academy of Swimming our lesson programme is focused on fun structured milestones with key outcomes for all levels. We operate a 50-week programme. Our lessons run all year round, only stopping for 2 weeks at Christmas.

Responsibilities:
- Provide swim instruction to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the swim program's curriculum
- Teach proper swimming techniques, water safety, and rescue skills
- Evaluate and track the progress of each swimmer and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons
- Ability to effectively communicate and educate individuals of various ages and skill levels
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, water safety, and rescue skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in swim instruction, holding a level 2 in swim teaching.
- Lifesaving required (or willingness to obtain)

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 15.00-26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 12 per week
