How you will create an impact



Ensure complete, accurate and timely syndicate reporting: Assist in the preparation of the quarterly submissions to AIG Preparation of Lloyd's returns Support Lloyd's regulatory reporting, including QMA, QMB, Solvency UK, RRQ, RRA, international, tax and SITUS reporting, as required. Maintain and ensure efficient and effective accounting processes: SAP general ledger maintenance including quarterly preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations Responsible for the processing of automated and non-automated GAAP journals Review of ledger reconciliations and schedules prepared by the assistant syndicate accountant Assist in the on-going development of syndicate quarterly reporting processes for both US and UK reporting, Solvency and Regulatory reporting Assist in the coaching and development of the Assistant Syndicate Accountant

What you'll need to succeed



Lloyd's market experience essential with a good knowledge of Lloyd's accounting and processes Advanced Excel skills Good knowledge of US, UK GAAP and Lloyd's regulatory reporting rules Good knowledge of financial processes and controls Strong communication skills Numerate and good analytical skills Ability to coach and develop more junior members of the team
