With state-of-the-art skills in materials technology, particularly relating to elastomers, polymers, composites and engineering plastics plus extensive expertise in precision machining of exotic alloys for metallic seals, and tension control fasteners for bolted joints.

Your Role



Responsible for the creation and configuration of new and existing custom made metals, Insolion and Metallic Gasket items, including Subcontracted Items and Raw material items. Responsible for maintaining base, and job level bill of materials and Routes within the ERP system. Responsible for the updating of bill of materials and routes as per external and/or internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Responsible for bill of materials and Routing configuration for all manufactured items.

Use engineering estimation and new part creation form to systematically create and configure manufactured parts. Ensure all manufactured items are set up and configured with correct bill of materials and manufacturing routing on the system in a timely manner. Maintain all current and job level bill of materials and routes to ensure parts are ready for production as per the latest agreed manufacturing methods. Liaise with other areas of the business to ensure that manufactured items are fully configured to meet a jobs planned start date. Carry out peer to peer sign off of configured parts to ensure errors are identified and cleansed prior to order entry. Create and maintain configuration KPI's in line with business needs.
Ensure all works orders are checked daily to support the production team achieve their planned output and on time performance.

Work closely with the Planning departments to ensure all job orders are released with the correct revisions of customer bill of materials and Drawings. Ensure all job orders are checked for correct routing and routing times prior to manufacturing release. Maintain Routing templates to ensure items and MD data descriptions are up to date with the latest Drawing/BOM revisions and specs. Work with relevant functions to ensure all errors are escalated and rectified (when needed) prior to manufacturing release.
Responsible for creation of Control Plan (QC Item) receivers for all Items.

Ensure that Quality Control items and tests are created for all new products, including subcontracted and raw materials, to facilitate timely inspection and booking in processes.
Responsible for CPQ Data Maintenance.

Ensure CPQ Data forms are maintained within ERP system. Manage and maintain all product names, types, material grades and elements via system LOV's as and when required.
