Technical Product Owner, Genasys Platform
The technical product owner for the Genasys Insurance Platform will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive platform enhancements, support policy administration, claims, reporting, and downstream systems. This will be a hands-on role that will play a key part in delivering new development, resolving issues, and managing business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
What you will do
Partner with the Senior Platform Product manager to manage applications on platform and support BAU needs
Engage with stakeholders across business, technical, and vendor teams to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure clear communication
Develop, configure, and maintain forms, clauses, and minor platform changes internally to support business needs and enhance platform functionality
Provide hands-on technical support to resolve platform issues, working closely with the Genasys vendor to meet SLAs and keep stakeholders informed
Drive new product development and process enhancements on the Genasys platform, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations
Manage tickets in Azure DevOps, facilitate scrums, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues for business and operations teams
Write detailed user stories, requirements, and support QA and UAT testing to ensure high-quality delivery
Provide training on the Genasys platform for technical, functional, and business users as needed
Leverage domain and technical expertise to design solutions that align with platform standards and stakeholder needs

What you require for the role
Proven experience as a policy administration system configurator (forms, clauses, and fields) with business analysis and product owner responsibilities
Deep technical expertise with the Genasys platform, including hands-on experience in developing and configuring forms, clauses, and minor platform changes internally
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and drive consensus across diverse teams
Strong understanding of MGA and specialty insurance markets, with a willingness to learn Hamilton's specific business processes
Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, with advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
