Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Carry out high-quality alterations on tailored jackets for both women and men
- Confidently recut, reshape, and remodel garments to achieve the right fit and silhouette
- Take accurate measurements and manage fittings with attention to balance and proportion
- Handle detailed work like tapering sleeves, adjusting shoulders, resetting collars, and full reworks
- Replace zips, buttons, linings, and fastenings with sharp, professional finishing
- Maintain a tidy and efficient workstation
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in jacket tailoring, ideally with both bespoke and alterations background
- Confident working independently and managing your own workflow
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and garment construction knowledge
- Comfortable using industrial machines and hand-finishing techniques
- Good communication skills - able to work with clients during fittings and provide expert advice when needed
