As a Tailor, you will play an essential role in ensuring our clients receive garments that fit perfectly and meet their individual style preferences.

Duties

Perform alterations on various types of garments, including suits, dresses, and casual wear. Construct custom garments according to client specifications and measurements. Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to ensure high-quality finishes. Conduct fittings with clients to assess fit and make necessary adjustments. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences..

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tailor or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using sewing machines, hand-sewing techniques, and garment construction methods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work meticulously on intricate designs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients. Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines without compromising quality. A creative mindset with an understanding of current fashion trends is advantageous. Formal training in tailoring or fashion design is a plus but not mandatory.
