Are you curious, creative, and passionate about the future of high performance sport? Do you want to play a role in shaping opportunities for the next generation on the road to LA 2028?
The UK Sports Institute (UKSI) is looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile project while developing your skills in storytelling, digital content, and insight generation.
You'll help us design and launch a brand-new sports internship model, tell the stories of our athletes and staff, and explore how innovations like AI can enhance the way we attract and support talent across the UK high performance system.
What you'll be doing
Creating engaging content and managing posts for our GB High Performance Careers page.
Turning data into insight through dashboards, infographics, and reports.
Supporting campaigns such as our Day in the Life series on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Exploring creative new platforms (TikTok, Threads, Bluesky) to reach wider audiences.
Collaborating across UKSI teams, NGBs, and the wider high performance community.
What we're looking for
We're not looking for certificates -- we're looking for curiosity, creativity, and commitment. You might be a student, recent graduate, or someone simply passionate about sport and storytelling.
You'll need to bring:
A creative eye for design and content.
Confidence using platforms like Instagram, Canva, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of a project.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
An interest in sport, talent development, or Olympic/Paralympic pathways.
Experience with data or visualisation tools (Excel, Google Data Studio, Canva) is a bonus, but not essential.
Why join us?
At UKSI, you'll be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team with the chance to contribute to projects that genuinely shape the future of high performance sport. You'll gain valuable, hands-on experience, develop new skills, and build connections across the UK high performance system.
We value diversity, inclusivity, and creativity -- and we want you to bring your voice and ideas to the table.

At the UKSI we aspire to have a workforce that is diverse and representative of all sections of society, not only by characteristic but by thought and perspective.? We believe a diverse workforce enables growth and creates a sustainably inclusive workspace for all employees.
