Description





As a Talent and L&D Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting both Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development activities. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will coordinate recruitment processes, schedule interviews, arrange interview materials, maintain candidate records, and help ensure a smooth and professional hiring experience. You will also support the planning and administration of training programmes and maintaining development records.###

Key Responsibilities





Talent Acquisition



Interview Coordination and Scheduling:Interview coordination and scheduling: align availability of candidates and hiring managers Manage interview requirements i.e., room bookings, online setups, accessibility needs Prepare and distribute interview documentation to stakeholders Communicate interview details in a timely and professional manner Collect and consolidate feedback, ensure the ATS records are accurate and escalate process and quality issues as appropriate Coordinate psychometric assessments, monitor completion, and arrange review calls
Candidate management and communication:Maintain ATS candidate data integrity and escalate issues to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner where required Communicate timely updates to candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders for a smooth recruitment experience and coordinate pre-employment checks with HR Serve as a first point of contact supporting new starter integration
General recruitment support:Support the Talent Acquisition Officer with external agency communications where required Contribute to team initiatives to improve recruitment and onboarding processes Assist with job description review and quality control Perform additional administrative tasks supporting the wider talent acquisition team as requested



Learning and Development



Administration of the Learning Management System (LMS):General administration of the LMS; managing course bookings, cancellations and dealing with training event queries Support the Learning & Development Officer with general troubleshooting and communication to users Assist with raising and managing support tickets for the LMS Ensure that new starters are live on the LMS and onboarding training has been assigned
Coordinate room bookings/creating teams links for training needs:Support the updating of L&D trackers Liaising with stakeholders to ensure diary management and alignment Registering all delegates and external trainers at each site for training delivery Undertaking general L&D administrative tasks where required

Experience





Proven experience handling a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy with documentation, interview scheduling, and communications Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) for document creation, communication, interview scheduling, and booking meeting rooms or setting up virtual meeting links for interviews Experience maintaining up-to-date records within systems, including ATS and LMS, ensuring data integrity, smooth workflows, and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism throughout the recruitment process (training will be provided)*
Experience in engaging effectively with stakeholders, building strong relationships and communicating clearly to support coordination activities and foster collaboration

Highly motivated, pragmatic, and practical to support the mission of the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult to accelerate the development of a commercial cell and gene-based therapy industry in the UK Excellent written and verbal communication skills and emotional intelligence A "roll your sleeves up" hands-on attitude towards varying work assignments Resilient, with the ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritise workload within a fast-paced professional environment, with a strong attention to detail Flexible and pragmatic, able to learn quickly and respond flexibly to project needs and priorities A good team player with a hands-on approach, and adaptable to new challenges Ability to work well under pressure, to work independently and to be able to take the initiative when completing tasks Comfortable operating autonomously once goals and objectives are set A positive attitude towards learning, personal and professional development Willingness to travel across CGT Catapult sites Strong time management, resource planning skills and the ability to work to priorities and deadlines Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Education / Qualifications A - C or 4 to 9 GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
