The Opportunity

Talent Acquisition Lead - Engineering

, you'll lead on our Operational & Engineering recruitment across the UK. Working closely with senior management teams you'll ensure that we hire the right people to keep our sites running safely, efficiently, and innovatively.


You'll work on varied senior and specialist operational and engineering positions across the UK. From a Control System Specialist to Head of Engineering and Plant Managers, you'll partner with senior stakeholders to understand hiring needs and design tailored, inclusive attraction strategies.


You'll lead on strategic talent projects, including transitioning contractor roles in house and building teams for newly commissioned plants. Using your deep knowledge of the engineering and operational talent market you'll advise on skill availability or recommendations across the UK.


Based in Bardon Hill, Leicestershire you'll also travel to key locations UK wide to build rapport and your understanding of the skills required within our sites.

Who you are

You're an experienced recruiter with a background in hiring engineering and operational talent.


You're comfortable working directly with senior leaders, quickly building trust and offering strategic, data-informed advice on hiring approaches. You know how to balance short-term demands with long-term talent pipeline planning.


You're experienced in managing high-volume or project-based recruitment and have worked on complex briefs involving technical requirements.


You bring a proactive, candidate-first approach to sourcing and engagement. You're confident using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to find and attract passive talent.


You're highly organised, tech-savvy (with experience using an ATS), and passionate about inclusive hiring. You enjoy collaborating with others and continuously look for ways to improve both process and experience.
