We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing culinary creativity and expertise.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking methods, equipment use, and safety protocols.
Develop new menu items that reflect current trends while considering customer preferences.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
Extensive knowledge of food production processes, cooking techniques, and presentation styles.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
