Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow Manage food production processes, including portion control, presentation, and consistency Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards Lead team management activities such as scheduling, training, and performance evaluations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation effectively Innovate new recipes and menu items to keep offerings fresh and appealing Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly during busy service periods, maintaining organisation and cleanliness

Qualifications



Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen management role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service delivery

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-19.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
