Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Tandoori Chef to lead our authentic Indian restaurant along with culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing pre marination, experience with Clayoven (tandoor) cooking and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Oversee food production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality control Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef within a busy Indian restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations Experience in food production, team management, and kitchen organisation Previous restaurant experience with a focus on delivering excellent customer service Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is ideal for a motivated culinary professional eager to lead by example and contribute to the success of our establishment.

Pay: 12.21-14.21 per hour
