Responsibilities

Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and food safety. Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Monitor food costs and waste, implementing strategies for minimisation. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines. Demonstrated supervisory experience, showcasing effective team management abilities. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to lead a diverse team. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
