Responsibilities

Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen operations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively. Create innovative dishes that enhance the dining experience while adhering to budget constraints.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent cooking skills with proficiency in various cuisines and techniques. Experience in menu planning, food production, and kitchen management. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service through culinary excellence.
