Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, creativity in menu planning, and a strong background in kitchen management. This role involves overseeing food production, ensuring food safety standards, and managing inventory while fostering a collaborative environment for the team.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation. Plan and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and quality control. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Manage catering services for events and banquets, ensuring all aspects meet our high standards of excellence. Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling practices, and hospitality standards. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs of guests. Monitor food costs and assist in budget management through effective inventory control practices. Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and professional growth.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef in fine dining or restaurant management settings. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and shift management. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and culinary trends. Experience in catering services and banquet operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with inventory management systems and food service management practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred; additional certifications in food handling or safety are a plus.
