Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Tandoori Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will specialize in preparing authentic North Indian dishes, with expertise in tandoor cooking techniques such as naan, roti, kebabs, tikkas, and curries. The role requires creativity, consistency, and efficiency while maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.

Duties



Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced. Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Maintain food safety standards and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, presentation skills, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting. Strong background in food production and culinary techniques. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Passion for cooking with a creative approach to menu design and presentation. Previous experience in supervising kitchen operations is highly desirable. A commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of quality.
