Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a focus on food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining an efficient and organised kitchen environment. Your leadership skills will be essential in supervising kitchen staff and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

Duties



Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Ensure all food production meets safety and hygiene regulations, adhering to food safety practices at all times. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes that reflect current culinary trends. Maintain an organised kitchen environment, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and operational standards.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.

Pay: 450.00 per week

Schedule:

Every weekend Monday to Friday
