Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and production, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences while leading and supervising kitchen staff.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Train new team members in culinary techniques and kitchen protocols. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.
