39 Hours - 4 on 4 off (days and nights) 12 hours shifts
As a Tankhouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of the production line. You will provide technical guidance to the business, ensuring that beverages and products delivered by the Tankhouse team meet established quality standards. Additionally, you will manage people, filling equipment, and process systems to consistently achieve agreed standards for safety, production quality, efficiency, and customer service.
The Key Requirements
Maintain product quality on all lines, running different lines at the same time and preparing next lines to move to
Test, control and verify products to ensure every product is released in a timely manner and according quality standards
Liaise with suppliers regarding products and complete all customs paper works for the tanker deliveries, chasing missing documents or products if required
Ensure all process equipment on every line is maintained and repaired and new staff is trained accordingly
Act as the first point of contact from filling hall, security tanker or haulier issues
Manage and control ingredient stock rotation, ensuring all process operators are running correct products to the correct production plan
Monitor water treatment plant operations and diagnose system faults
Build and maintain positive working relationships within the business, ensuring communications are effective at all times
Ensure hygienic and safe working practices are maintained and investigate all incidents and accidents when necessary
Ensure all work areas and equipment within control are maintained to a high standard, conducting shift housekeeping audits when required
Ensure movement of vehicle controls in Tanker yard are adhered to, with empty containers wrapped or crushed, waste is correctly labelled, segregated and removed when required
Motivate the individuals within the team and develop them into a strong autonomous team, ensuring they are properly trained and managed to work in a safe, quality conscious and effective way, identifying training needs if required
Complete feedback sessions with team members to highlight development areas and be aware of relation issues to ensure shift discipline, and high standards of work and attendance at all times, reporting issues to the Process Manager if necessary
Complete RTW, Accident / Incident investigations, new starter probations and ensure training attendance sheets are briefed and signed off by teams
Supervise holiday planning and crewing for the team, delivering detailed information at shift handovers and other appropriate times (e.g. line issues)
Create an open and responsive environment, encourage a flexible attitude and ensure involvement of your team through leading by example
NCR's - Start investigation on shift to find root cause and close out
First Fix - investigate mechanical issues and fix valve faults, escalate to engineers if unable to repair
