Salary: 24,000 - 32,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time options available)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join our busy Personal Tax team in Wimborne. This is a chance to become an integral part of a team where you'll manage your own client portfolio and contribute directly to our success. You'll be at the heart of our client relationships, helping individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of personal tax.

Your Impact

Own your client portfolio: Prepare a diverse range of personal tax returns for a varied client base, including individuals and sole traders. You will work towards building and managing your own portfolio.

Provide expert advice: Get hands-on experience by assisting clients with tailored advice across key areas like buy-to-let properties, foreign income, residency, and Capital Gains Tax.

Be a trusted advisor: Serve as a key point of contact for clients and HMRC, managing tax queries and enquiries under the guidance of our senior team members.

Master compliance: The core focus of this role is the accurate preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns.

Who We're Looking For

You should have at least two years of experience in a personal tax role, along with a solid working knowledge of UK personal tax compliance and advisory. Proficiency with tax software (such as TaxCalc or IRIS) and Microsoft Office is essential. We are seeking someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive attitude who is eager to grow.
