We're working with a well-established financial firm that has built its reputation on straight-talking advice, long-term client relationships, and doing the fundamentals properly. As the business continues to grow, they're now looking for an experienced Tax Specialist to step into a key part-time role, bringing depth, structure, and confidence to their tax offering.
This is a 20-hour-per-week position, ideal for someone who wants meaningful, senior-level work without committing to full-time hours.
About the role
You'll be responsible for handling and advising on a wide range of tax matters, working closely with both clients and internal colleagues. This isn't a role where you're boxed into a narrow remit -- you'll be trusted to apply your judgement, guide decision-making, and shape how tax advice is delivered across the firm.
The workload is steady and well-managed, allowing you to focus on quality rather than volume. You'll have the autonomy to work in a way that suits you, with the backing of a professional and supportive team.
About the client
The firm is an established accountancy and financial practice working predominantly with owner-managed businesses and individuals. Their approach is practical, clear, and client-focused -- no unnecessary jargon, no rushed advice, and no pressure to upsell services that aren't needed.
Internally, they value experience and accountability. People are trusted to do their jobs properly, supported when needed, and given the space to work without constant oversight.
