Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting vulnerable passengers with a Passenger Assistant safely and efficiently to their desired destinations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate the local area effectively. MUST HAVE WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS CLEARANCE TO WORK SCHOOL AND DAY CARE CONTRACTS

Duties

Drive passengers to their destinations in a safe and timely manner. Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle at all times. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items when necessary. Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues promptly to management.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Strong driving skills with a valid W&F TAXI licence suitable for passenger transport. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. An understanding of safeguarding Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions with passengers. Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is advantageous. Capability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
