As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and comfort. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to navigate various routes within the city.

Duties

Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner. Maintain the vehicle in good working condition, ensuring cleanliness and regular maintenance checks. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed. Manage cash and electronic payments accurately, ensuring all fares are collected appropriately. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items as required. Keep up-to-date with local traffic patterns and road conditions to optimise routes.

Experience

Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is advantageous but not essential. A valid commercial driving licence is required, along with a clean driving record. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with passengers and provide excellent customer service. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety and satisfaction. Familiarity with the local area is preferred, enabling efficient navigation through city streets.
