Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hard working and professional Taxi Driver to work weekend nights Thursday -Sunday.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers through the night while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to navigate effectively, and a commitment to maintaining the vehicle stays in a clean condition.

Responsibilities

Transport passengers to various destinations in a safe and timely manner Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items when necessary Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability Handle any customer enquiries or complaints professionally

Experience

Valid UK driving licence required Valid Wyre Council Dual Driver Licence Must be aged 25 years or above with at least 3 years driving experience for insurance purposes Previous experience as a taxi driver or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including a mini bus if required Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers Must be able to lift heavy items when assisting passengers A commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times The ability to work as part of a team
