Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a friendly and courteous demeanour while providing safe and efficient transportation services. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to their desired destinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.

Badges required, SKDC Hackney or Private Hire, Rutland Private Hire, Boston Private Hire alternatively we can assist in applicants obtaining the relevant authority license subject to successful interview.

Responsibilities

Drive passengers to various locations in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic regulations. Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and local attractions as needed. Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items when required. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger details. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is safe for operation. Handle payment transactions efficiently and provide receipts as necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence with the appropriate category for operating a taxi is required. Enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the Licensing process Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse passengers. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.

Pay: 22,000.00-45,000.00 per year
