Requirements:

1) Do you have the right to work in the UK?

2) Have you had a UK driving licence for at least 12 months?

3) No convictions on your driving licence related to drink / drug / mobile phone related charges.

4) Less than 6 points on your license

We have full and part time opportunities and a car can be provided.

Mentoring through Think Pink

The Start:

To start, you'll need a private hire driver's license. If you don't already have one Think Pink will help you to gain one.

Earnings and Support:

You'll be self-employed, your earning is based on your hours. Think Pink offers a strong community of women drivers for support and mentorship, and additional training. Our fleet partner provides operational support and bookings system.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the Think Pink Taxi, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of passengers. Maintain a valid driving license and adhere to all traffic regulations. Provide excellent customer service, including effective communication with passengers. Assist with heavy lifting of luggage or packages as needed. Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Document delivery routes and maintain accurate records of trips.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle.

Responsibilities

Safely drive passengers to their desired locations while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Maintain the vehicle in good condition, ensuring cleanliness and functionality at all times. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, fares, and local attractions when necessary. Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or personal items as needed. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fares collected. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as a taxi or delivery driver. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings. Strong organisational skills to maintain vehicle records and schedules efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers and provide assistance as needed. Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Experience as a van driver is advantageous but not essential.
