Thank you for taking an interest in the part time

Teacher vacancy at Boothroyd Primary Academy. This role is initially to work predominantly across our Year 4 and Year 5 classes. However, there will be occasion to cover ALL key stages for a small part of the role each week. Ideally, this person will be able to work all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each week. You will be expected to do your PPA at home (for which you will be recompensed accordingly).

Teacher Key Responsibilities:




Be an excellent classroom teacher who is able to promote and model excellent primary practice.


Be dynamic, innovative and able to bring exciting ideas to our school and will have a clear awareness of effective pedagogical approaches and how to implement them effectively in the classroom.

Be innovative in creating a stimulating learning environment.


Be keen to develop and share their knowledge and expertise with colleagues and become involved in every aspect of school life.

Have a clear awareness of expectations within year groups and the progression of knowledge within the curriculum.
