About the role
This is an exciting role, teaching English across key stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of A Level for the right candidate. The English team is a strong, vibrant team who offer excellent provision for our students in and out of the classroom, without strong English curriculum through to our Inter House competitions and award winning poetry club. The successful candidate will be an integral part of this team.
The position would suit someone new to the profession as well as a more experienced teacher. We have a strong ECF programme with excellent mentoring, as well as the opportunity for a wide range of CPD, including funded NPQs. There is the possibility of future areas of additional responsibility within the English team for the right candidate.

Who we are looking for
Relevant Subject Degree at BA or above
Qualified Teacher Status
Understanding of the current curriculum discussions within your subject.
Able to show evidence of the use of technology within teaching.
A thorough up to date knowledge of the range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and how to implement them effectively.
A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and a range of assessment requirements.
