Rokeby School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking and ambitious practitioner of PE and Games to join the Sports Department. You will need to be a qualified teacher and be able to teach to a high standard, be innovative and creative in your approach, and to like working with young children, as well as being committed to a whole school ethos.
This post would suit a PE specialist with a particular passion for inspiring a love of sport and activity amongst our school community. The current post-holder has established an excellent inclusive ethos and we would expect applicants to build upon the current levels of enthusiasm and involvement through offering exciting sporting opportunities, open to all.
The ideal candidate would have experience teaching across our age ranges (Reception to Year 8), be passionate about the development of all our boys, and have appropriate qualifications to develop our Rugby programme. The role includes assisting the Director of Sport in managing the department as part of the overall sports programme for the school.
Salary according to Rokeby pay scales. Excellent opportunities for CPD.
