Your Role - What You'll Be Doing
------------------------------------
As a Teacher of Humanities, you will:
Teach across
History, Geography and RE
at KS3, with the possibility of KS4 specialism depending on expertise
Design and deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons that promote critical thinking and global awareness
Use assessment to inform planning, support progression, and stretch every learner
Collaborate with faculty colleagues to develop high-quality curriculum resources
Take part in fieldwork, enrichment activities, or cross-curricular projects that bring humanities to life
(For leadership potential) Contribute to curriculum development, lead departmental initiatives, or mentor ECTs
Who Are We Looking For?

You may be an experienced teacher, an ECT with energy and ambition, or a rising star ready for leadership--either way, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who:
? Is a strong classroom practitioner, able to inspire learners across a range of abilities
? Can teach across all three humanities disciplines, or is willing to upskill in areas of development
? Has a genuine passion for the human story--past, present and future
? Wants to play a wider role in school life, contributing to clubs, trips, or student voice
? (If seeking leadership) Has a track record of curriculum innovation, coaching others, or raising standards
