Teacher of Religious Studies (Permanent, full-time or part-time)

TLR 2B Opportunity - Acting Head of RS (1 Year maternity cover)

Newark Academy, an outstanding school with a thriving and well-resourced Religious Studies department, is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Teacher of RS to join our team from January 2026. We are proud to invest in our RS provision, ensuring that all students study RS up to Year 13, and we are committed to delivering a curriculum that challenges, inspires, and broadens horizons.


This is a permanent position, open to both full-time and part-time applicants (minimum 4 days per week). For the first year, there is the exciting opportunity to take on a temporary TLR 2B as Acting Head of RS while our current Head of Department is on maternity leave. You will have the chance to lead a passionate team, shape the future of RS at Newark Academy, and make a real impact on students' lives.
