The Role



We are seeking a committed and compassionate

Teacher

to join our dedicated education team. You will deliver a range of subjects up to

GCSE level

, working primarily with

KS3-KS4 students

who have

SEN and/or SEMH needs

.

Key Responsibilities



Plan and deliver engaging lessons and schemes of work aligned to GCSE requirements Create and maintain a positive, safe and structured learning environment Prepare students for national qualifications Assess progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs Develop

individualised timetables and learning programmes

Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation Build trusting, consistent relationships with students Work collaboratively with carers, parents and multi-disciplinary professionals Attend meetings and contribute to written reports Maintain safeguarding, health & safety and child protection standards at all times

About You



You will be a resilient, emotionally warm professional who understands the importance of consistency, boundaries and relationships when working with vulnerable young people.

Essential Requirements:



Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in the subject you teach Experience teaching

KS3-KS4

and preparing students for GCSEs Experience working with

SEN and/or SEMH learners

Strong organisational, IT and administrative skills Full, clean

UK driving licence

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Commitment to safeguarding and trauma-informed practice

Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students' academic and behavioural development, and tailoring instruction to meet diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to work with children across various age groups, including early childhood and preschool levels, while employing specialised skills such as speech therapy, applied behaviour analysis, and behaviour management. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and a commitment to nurturing young learners' growth and potential.

Duties



Plan and deliver engaging lessons across subjects including maths, physical education, and early childhood education. Implement specialised programmes such as speech therapy and applied behaviour analysis to support individual student needs. Manage classroom behaviour effectively through positive behaviour management strategies. Provide tutoring and additional support to students requiring extra assistance in areas such as proofreading, tutoring, or specific subject areas. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for children from toddlers to preschool age. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop personalised learning plans. Monitor student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback. Assist with childcare duties during school hours, including toddler care where applicable. Mentor students to build confidence, social skills, and academic success. Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular activities such as physical education classes or mentoring programmes.

Skills



Proven experience with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience with special education needs, including speech therapy and behaviour management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Proficiency in proofreading and tutoring across various subjects. Familiarity with applied behaviour analysis (ABA) techniques is advantageous. Organised with strong planning skills to develop tailored lesson plans and educational activities. Passionate about mentoring young learners and fostering their overall development.
