All about the role:

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join Monkton park primary as an apprentice.

The successful candidate will provide support to individual pupils, support small groups or work in whole class settings. They must have good written and oral communication, IT skills and be confident in supporting for those with additional learning needs on both an individual and small group basis. Whilst working with the school the successful candidate will be completing their Teaching Assistant apprenticeship.

This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone wanting to further their experience of working with children and willing to complete and apprenticeship. We are looking for someone who can quickly form good relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

Contract:

30 hours per week 8:40am until 3:10pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Term time only.(38 weeks per year)
