The role of Teaching Assistant across our Academy is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with statements of special educational needs, under the direction of the class teacher. We are an Ofsted Outstanding, 11-18 academy based in the large friendly town of Worksop, near Sheffield and Nottingham.



Since joining the Outwood Family in 2012, we were rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2017 and are among the top schools for Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire for GCSE results, including English and Maths.
