An opportunity has arisen to be a Teaching Assistant at Stone Hill School.



Stone Hill School is a

community day special school for 182 pupils aged 5-19 years with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, specifically Autism.

We are committed to providing a fully enriched and creative curriculum which meets the diverse needs of all our pupils. We are situated in a purpose built school on Barnsley Road, Scawsby.



We are looking for someone to join the team who:


Is motivated and keen to learn. Can demonstrate good levels of literacy, numeracy and has the appropriate qualifications, GCSE grade A-C or equivalent. Can use their initiative to work independently as well as working as part of a high performing team Is able to work flexibly and support teaching and learning in all areas of the school, however please indicate on your application if you have a preference. Will share our commitment for developing the best possible learning and pastoral environment for all children and ensure all children reach their potential. Will bring a sense of energy, enthusiasm and dedication to the role.


Previous experience of working in a school setting is not essential as full training will be given.



The school has a friendly and supportive governing body and staff team where everyone is valued.
