Early Years Teaching Assistants - Wirral Primary Schools

TalentBoard is currently seeking

enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistants

to join out team supporting primary schools across the Wirral. If you're passionate about supporting young children in their earliest stages of learning and development, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you've worked in a school before or bring transferable skills from childcare, nursery, or early education roles, we welcome individuals ready to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning activities. Assisting with observations and tracking children's progress. Helping to implement structured routines and developmental plans. Working closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a nurturing environment. Promoting emotional wellbeing, social skills, and positive behaviour. Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom space. Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies. Offering guidance to other staff within the Early Years setting.

What We're Looking For

A qualification in Early Years Education or a related field. Understanding of child development and early learning approaches. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to support inclusive learning and adapt to individual needs. A genuine interest in helping children thrive. First aid or safeguarding training is a bonus.
