We are entering an exciting new chapter as we expand our Early Years provision to welcome children from
9 months upwards
, building on our already well-established nursery and pre-prep setting. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in developing and growing this new, high-quality area of the school -- helping to shape its ethos, practice, and success from the very beginning.
The Role
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic
Early Years Teaching Assistants / Early Years Specialists
to join our caring and professional team from
January 2026 onwards
.
Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will support children's learning, development, and wellbeing across our Nursery, Reception, and Key Stage 1. You'll help create a stimulating, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore and thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences
Building warm, positive relationships with children and families
Promoting independence, curiosity, and confidence in every child
Assisting with daily routines, personal care, and classroom organisation
Ensuring the highest standards of safety, care, and safeguarding at all times
Supporting lunchtime, playtime, and wraparound care sessions as required
We offer flexibility in working hours and start dates to suit both the right candidate and the ongoing development of our expanding Early Years provision.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Caring, approachable, and genuinely passionate about early childhood education
A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, proactive, and able to use initiative within a collaborative setting
Committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, safety, and professionalism
Excited by the opportunity to contribute to a developing and growing Early Years environment
Essential:
A relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above)
2 years of experience working in an Early Years setting
A good understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
A commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional development
Desirable:
Experience working with children from 9 months
Full Paediatric First Aid and Basic Food Hygiene certificates (training can be provided)
Up-to-date Safeguarding training
Confidence using technology to enhance learning and communication
