We are ideally seeking to employ an excellent, experienced practitioner for 15 hours per week on a fixed term basis from September 2025, initially until 31st August 2026.
The successful candidate will be committed to supporting children's learning and have a good understanding of how to support the development of children as confident, independent individuals.
The successful candidate will:
be able to nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils in order to secure high standards for all pupils to be 'lifelong learners, with open minds'
have previous experience of working with children with complex SEND and/or social communication difficulties
have good maths and English skills (GCSE grade C or above or equivalent)
have a working knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to break down learning into small steps
be able to provide modelling and scaffolding to support the child's engagement
be able to implement clear boundaries and routines using positive behaviour management strategies
have a calm and positive disposition
work as part of a year team under the guidance of the year leader and class teacher to raise attainment and deliver tailored interventions
be able to work independently and have good organisational skills
