Teaching Assistant


Permanent, 32.5hrs Per Week, Term-Time Only (39 Weeks)


Scale 4, Point 9 - 12: 26,409 - 27,711 (Actual Salary: 20,176.22 - 21,170.94)


Starting Date - September 2025

Hollywell Primary School - a one-form entry, Ofsted-rated 'Good' school - is looking to appoint a skilled, caring, and motivated Grade 4 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. This permanent role is to support in Key Stage 2, but flexibility to work across school may be required. Experience of supporting emotional wellbeing through ELSA, Drawing and Talking, or a passion for incorporating gardening into pupil wellbeing would be a significant advantage.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

Has experience working with children in Key Stage 2 Can confidently lead whole-class sessions when required (e.g. for short-term cover) Has experience supporting pupils with SEND and providing 1:1 or small group interventions Has a secure understanding of phonics Demonstrates a passion for supporting the whole child, including emotional development Has a positive, enthusiastic attitude and is a strong team player Would enjoy contributing to the wider life of the school, including wellbeing and outdoor learning And above all - brings a smile and a willingness to get stuck in!


Desirable Skills:

ELSA or Drawing and Talking training An interest in using gardening as a therapeutic or educational tool
