Duties
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of students.
Provide support to students with special educational needs, including those with disabilities and autism.
Facilitate small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives.
Help create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes participation and engagement.
Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers as necessary.
Support the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
Skills
Experience working with children, particularly in an educational or mentoring capacity.
Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with people with disabilities.
Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, teachers, and parents.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
