Teaching Assistant
Job Description
We are an alternative education provider based in Leicester City Centre. We offer vocational courses to young people of school age (ages 14-16 years) who have been excluded from mainstream education.
We are looking for an experienced TA to support learning, encourage positive behaviour and support learners undertaking practical courses within our alternative provision.
The role will include supervising lunches, supporting learning on various sessions including barbering, nail technician or construction courses.
A skill or interest in at least one of the above areas would be beneficial.
You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS as part of the application process. You must also be available to attend mandatory training on 20.08.25 and the role starts on 26.05.2025.
The role will be 15 hours a week
Monday to Wednesday
term time only
