We are looking for for an enthusiastic, inspiring and versatile Teaching Assistant, who will work to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction, guidance and supervision of the class teacher. This role presents an opportunity to motivate young people to develop confidence in their own independent learning and resilience.
Ideally candidates will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to work to deadlines, as well as excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in school, with primary aged children or holding a First Aid Certificate could be an advantage. Our Teaching Assistant will be passionate about pupil's learning and well-being and is committed to working full-time during term time plus INSET days (35 weeks per academic year). This is a fixed term contract until August 2026.
Our Teaching Assistant must
Have an NVQ Level 3 qualification
Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to manage staff, parent and pupil relationshipsPossess t
Possess the ability and commitment to work creatively to ensure that children develop as happy, motivated, independent learners
Be committed to childrens social, academic, emotional and physical development
Have an understanding of safeguarding
Have the Right to Work in the UK.
