The Governors of Woolston CE Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. The post is to support children with SEND within a KS1 class. Experience of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is essential. The post is offered on a fixed term contract initially until 31st July 2026, working 22.50 hours, term time only, plus inset days..

We are seeking a colleague who will:

Work closely with the Class teacher, the SENDCo and external agencies to support learning Have an understanding of the needs of the pupils they are working with Implement agreed programmes of work with individuals, in or out of the classroom Be professional at all times Have a flexible approach to meeting the needs of all pupils Promote and follow required policies and procedures Have a sensitive but enthusiastic approach ? Be willing to undertake additional training
