Role: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Oldham

Start: January

Pay: 92 to 110 per day - Dependant on experience

Value Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join us for regular work in Primary and Secondary Schools. The positions we have available cater for flexible supply work to full time contracts with a view to be permanent for the right candidate.

You will enjoy working with students across various Key Stages supporting with Maths, English, ICT and vocational studies on a 1:1 basis and leading small groups. The Schools we work with are seeking Teaching Assistants to work closely with learners with Autism, ADHD and Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. ?

In this role, you will be working with students who have become disengaged with their learning and are in need of support with increasing their confidence and manging their emotions.

Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant role: ?

Working on a 1:1 basis with students with learning difficulties Strong de-escalation strategies when working with students displaying challenging behaviour? Ability to adapt to different settings to teach in to stimulate learning ? Ability to build rapport with students?
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role: ?

Experience working with young people GCSE in Maths and English?? Ability to adapt to different settings to teach in to stimulate learning ? Ability to build rapport with students
