We are looking to appoint an energetic and creative person to work with our students, aged 11-18, including those with additional needs. You would be supporting teaching and learning in the classroom as well as running small group and one to one intervention. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has a passion for actively contributing to society, helping to develop tomorrow's adults and supporting them to become confident, respectful, independent and resilient.

Following our recent Ofsted inspection, we have once again been awarded a grading of Outstanding and this includes our SEND provision. More details about our work can be found on our website

We are looking for someone who:

Is empathetic and can build trust and rapport with students, staff and parents. Acts as an excellent role model and can challenge the norms whilst working as part of a well-established team of education professionals. Is a confident communicator with adults and children. Has high standards of numeracy and literacy and is able to inspire and motivate young people to be the best they can be.
Whilst it would be an advantage, applicants do not necessarily need to have worked in education but must have their own high academic standards and expectations and be enthusiastic and passionate about engaging with young people of all needs and abilities. The role would also suit someone who is looking for a career pathway into teaching, particularly since the Trust has its own teacher training school.

Working for The Blue Coat School means that you would be part of the Cranmer Education Trust, a successful, growing Trust which prides itself on looking after its people, offering a high level of support and access to expertise. This is an excellent time to join the team, as we develop collaborative structures and systems to enhance and support our growing family of schools.

There are 10 schools in our trust, both primary and secondary schools, across Oldham and Rochdale. The trust also incorporates a teacher training school and the East Manchester Teaching Hub, which support the training and development of new and existing teachers across the North West of England.
