About this Role
Required for a September 2025 start, we are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working and supportive team. This position would suit an individual who is supportive and is able to challenge students to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive 'can do' attitude and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
The working pattern for this role is Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm. You will be working school term time plus one week which equates to 39 working weeks per year. We are also able to consider part-time applications (three or four days per week) for this role. If you wish to apply for a part-time post, please indicate this in your letter of application.

The Academy
Ormiston Bushfield Academy is a good school (OFSTED - December 2019), conveniently located close to the Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire & Lincolnshire borders, and benefits from excellent road and rail links.
The Academy is continuing to expand and due to its popularity and increasing student numbers, a new 6 million wing was opened in September 2018. This extension is an addition to the 20.6 million state-of-the-art building that was completed September 2012, giving every student the opportunity to learn in an exciting and inspiring environment at an Academy that has been recognised for its high standards of inclusion. Has a good standard of education to GCSE level in English & Maths.
Possesses good ICT skills.
